Update time! What's new in the world of Shift? Much, and still I'll be quiet on this side. I actually have been becoming more and more active with art. I have been painting a lot lately. Not on canvas, but on rocks bits of glass and wooden beads. However I will not be uploading much of my new stuff here. I recently got a new account that will be used as something of a professional/craft-art account. My aim will be to be able to provide custom/commissions in these medias. Realized it's been almost a year since I posted a journal. So, here goes. Much has changed in my life. Pretty much forcing me 'offline'. Though can't say it's all bad. Actually getting out in the big bad scary 'Real Life' thing. Pretty interesting. Ferrety update? Been almost a year and we still have five! Though Hessu is winding down. Think the cancer is finally taking it's toll. The othe four are doing well. Smokes is still crazy, Kaie has bonded extremely close to the two boys... especially Sigh. Sigh himself has come out of his shell and now demands to be petted. Cuteness. And Shen is fat and happy as ever.

Been a while since I've been active here! Life's taken some different twists and turns and in the process decided to kill my scanner. So here's a halfassed update for now. I'm up to my knees in ferrets. Heh, okay, really I just adopted three. Two came as a pair and one a female. Added to my own three, which was made up of two older ferrets (siblings as far as I could tell) and my youngest. Since then we have lost the oldest male, Wolf, to cancer. This was expected though still hard. His sister is still doing extremely well since her surgery, over a year now since the cancer has been removed. She shows signs of other things going in, but i
